And They Want This Man to be President????

Found this on the AOL website. The anger is growing towards Obama. This is what he said on Meet the Press-did not find a date

less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To
Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it.'We should
consider to reinvent our National Anthem as well as to redesign our
Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It's my intention, if
elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle
East Brethren. If we as a Nation of warring people, should conduct
ourselves as the nations of Islam, whereas peace prevails. Perhaps a
state or period of mutual concord between our governments. When I

have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past, many years

Country's First Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the

Can this be confirmed, or simply another "urban legend" grown from hate?
If confirmed, wow - and if true, then why hasn't Drudge or Rush or someone seen and posted it?
I wonder, honestly, sorry, it's such a in your face sort of statement, someone would have had to have recalled and posted this if it was for-real.
What about the Hillary folks and PUMAs, they seem to have "resources" who could look into this.......

I think it happened during the Primaries.

OK, I started researching this quote and Hannity message boards has it up also. From the replies on their message board I have decided it is not true. I found the date of the Meet the Press segment and Obama was not on the program.

Actually, I think he did say something very much like that if not that exact quote. It was some time during the primaries. It was noticed that he did not wear a flag pin like the other candidates. I think it was about the same time around the ruckus about him not putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem. I don't remember where the quote was made.

Snopes has an explanation. It was written as satire in someone's column, and someone else turned it into an email and it spread.
