New forum ideas!
This forum was set up to help our beloved palin to get into the white house. unfortenatly we can up a bit short. We will keep this forum just in case for the future!
However, i would like to set up a new forum that is more general in politics. something where all poeple of political thought can come togather void of any obamabots. The new forum will be based on traditional american values.
any ideas for forum names?

Hmmmm,
Well, since most of us hate political views which include marxism, or faschism, or socialism - how about:
Just a thought.

You can't really call it that when you don't allow freedom of speech on this forum.

This kind of thinking doesn't prevent the Democrats from calling themselves Democrats. You should understand by now that freedom and democracy are only buzzwords used to pretty up a candidate. Nothing free and nothing democrat about incumbent protection and redistribution of wealth.
Re: New forum ideas!
I have webspace that I can donate to you that can generate advertising revenue for the both of us or we can eliminate all advertising and have it run by donations, in which all total donations are publicly announced and shown being put into server costs.
I can design and install phpbb forums or even make a blog site that is integrated with a forum, while still using all of the data that is on this one (provided you can download database backup in the admin utility and bring it back up).
And with this 3rd option we can also do more to syndicate the website's forum and blog posts. There's a lot of opportunity here that I'd like to help to direct and this is the 3rd time I believe that I've voiced this support and option and I will continuously voice this until I get a definite answer.
It is in your hands and there is no reason why we can't go above and beyond.
P.S
I'm very good at what I do and I'm currently enrolled in school to do more.

I'll support whatever is decided here. I think we could have a place to voice general political opinions and still keep the trolls out. Especially if we do keep the focus on conservative issues. I believe most, if not all of us here agree pretty much on the fundamental issues, so it SHOULD work.
Those who don't, like 'democrat', can eventually find another place where his/her own views are welcomed. Coming here to argue about things we truly believe in is fruitless as HE won't change our minds. It's just a matter of different opinions and he should be able to find plenty of forums dedicated to those liberal views. Simple as that.

You have a lot of nerve. Talk about audacity. No way in h*** I'm letting you get away with that tripe. Which party sent out the legal team in Missouri threatening jail and imprisonment for daring to speak against 'the messiah' in this past election???? DEMOCRATS Which party did the same thing in PA? DEMOCRATS Which party is advocating and yet again pushing the 'Fairness Doctrine' which is nothing less than an ATTACK on the 1st amendment? DEMOCRATS
If freedom of speech wasn't allowed on this forum your butt would have been banned by now.

Catchy name but not all of us are Republicans, right?? The HRC forum just went through a name change and they came up with "Common Ground Politics".

Actually Siouxie you are right. I also prefer a non-partisan approach where there is unity and common ground which doesn't depend on party affiliation.
I think our goal should be to come together for a common cause and to support candidates like Sarah Palin who want to fix the problems in this country, and support good common sense ideals which move our country forward to create a strong and "UNITED States of America".

For the record, I just joined a newly formed "Anti-Obama" forum that was started by one of the HRC Forum PUMAs. Here's the https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=604570195&ref=name link. (We Did Not Vote For Obama). I, of course, will stay HERE and go where you guys go as well.

"democrat", "baz", whatever nic he's using now would be right at home at some of my old haunts - dailykos.com and democratunderground.com
Stay away unless you have a thing for far-left hate speech - they will ban you on a whim. But I'll give them this much, their strategy of whining until they get their way is working, they'll demand free speech for them, but your free speech is hate speech. They do not compromise on that.
Siouxie, I joined that forum and that other spin-off from the HRC forum. I don't know, I'm rather disenchanted with Hillary Clinton right now and if I wanted to talk to Obama bots, I still have accounts at all of them. I went to a couple of military forums, their take on the election is ummmm...bleak as well.

Re: New forum ideas!
I believe that if we take a bi-partisan approach and tout freedom of speech then we run the risk of having the very constitutional right being taken advantage of. Not to say that anyone who does disagree with my viewpoints gets tagged a troll but it will be difficult to maintain decorum.
We can use this platform to support candidates irrespective of party affiliations, work on the media to call on them for their bias irrespective of gender, class, creed , color and discuss / deliberate on issues for increasing the knowledge base. Partisan approach without the usual political talking points/bickerings moving towards a more centrist referendum.
As a nation there are many problems to be countered. The politicians will do their work ( or so it might seem ) but we can definitely inform each other of where we stand and what the future holds. Sane debates on off-shore drilling, nuclear power, stimulus package, how bad REALLY is the economy?, which is a better choice giving tax incentives by taking spending cuts or spending by taxing the rich, nationalising health-care et al should be entertained. I have always wondered...Are we feeling the brunt of an economy in recession on a personal front...apart from job loss data, downward trend of the stock market, negative returns on the 401k, negligible interest rates...how are we being affected on a daily basis. The gas prices have dropped, if you are prudent you can still make money in this market, the prices of commodities have gone up only because of speculative futures market, a lot of retailers are coming out with the best of sale offers for the holiday season, homes have become cheaper to own ie if you have money left to buy one ..hence the point.
Political forums can get contentious a lot of the time...why don't we open it to current affairs, culture, sports, music, tv serials(susie u can start with greys anatomy ... ) , heck even highlight deals and holiday spots for the winter season.
Just my 2 cents...
