Here's a list of the emails that were actually published.

It doesn't look like there was really much "revealing" things there, this is just a violation of the Palin family's privacy and could open the door to increased regulation of the internet. Of course, the American Communist Lawyer's Union is silent on this matter.

My first impression was that some of Obama's script kiddies did it - this article by AP suggests that whoever did it just "hacked" the password:

These things are usually easy to trace, they'll find the perpertrators, but John McCain is better off not using email.

It's enough for the DoJ and the Secret Service to be getting involved, so yeah, I think her account got hacked.

Email interception is a federal felony.

I think it's been confirmed at this point, unless it is a myth. It's on every major news site now. And radical smear blogs are going as far as to call and get a voicemail and post it on their website. Disgusting!!
