Re: Presidential Debates #3
Best line of the night for me was "If you wanted to run against George Bush, you should've run four years ago."
This was only slightly less boring than the last two debates. The real winner in my view was the moderator who finally allowed them to talk about not only William Ayers and ACORN, but all the ugliness (John Lewis' comments, the T-shirts, etc.) being hurled at the McCain campaign. Obama still didn't acknowledge ever participating in ACORN training sessions, and seemed to go backward to his original stance that Ayers was just someone he worked on a board with.
I'm just glad this is finally over and done with. I know it's very important, but listening to a lot of percentages just bores me to tears.

Hahaha! "Senator Government" More true than not!
I thought McCain did very well in this debate. True, it was the moderator who made the discussion but it seemed to all be in McCains favor because I believe he mopped the floor with Obama. McCain had passion, numbers, tough questions of his own and very good answers. Obama maintained his cool and that's about it. McCain also had better reaction timing and oneliners than in any other debate.
Also on Roe V Wade, McCain said "I'm a Federalist", finally!

McCain won hands down. Obama-lama-ding-dong was just blabbering most of the night and saying nothing. So many times when Obama speaks, I forget what he was talking about.
Johnny did a lot better this debate, but he's just not mean enough to really kick "The One" to the street.
I just hope Americans do the right thing Nov. 4th.

I want a t-shirt that says ->
Senator Government tells Joe the Plumber "all your income are belong to us"
(I mis-spoke earlier, should be all your income, rather than all your taxes, and anyone unfamiliar, that line is a take from a video game line. The video game was Asian and very poorly translated into English.

McCain then believes in the ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION which protected state rights and said congress shall not trample on state rights. He thus is like the original founders of this country and writers of the constitution. Bravo for John.

LOL I love it. I am familiar with that line and here's another one for "The One" :
You will get my income when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers...

Sign me up for 2.
This debate was a lot less boring than the last one, but that's still not saying that much. I did appreciate McCain actually leaning on Obama concerning certain issues, and not just letting him get away w/ all of his usual lies. And at the end, when he called Obama what he really is, big government, it just made my night. Sen. Government is a joke.

You can't give people success, they won't appreciate it, it has to be earned. I'm sorry, but keep the wealth where it is, and I'll work for what's mine and at the end of the day, I'll know that it is mine, I'll know how hard I had to work for it, and I'll know how important it is to keep working for it.
