What few people here remember is that Hitler was elected into power. The parallels between him and Barack Hussein Obama are frightening, but it is deliberate on the part of Obama - his campaign managers' specialty is putting some "cult of personality" into play.

Hitler's original (and one that sustained him through his entire meglomania) supporters and confidants were all Satanists and believed in witchcraft and astrology. If you ever get a chance, watch the History Channels program on how Satanism figured prominently in Nazism. And yet on the outside, they looked "normal" and "Christian". What it did was lead to was the ruination of Germany and the death of 6M innocent people.

By the way, in the Bible, God says that He will bless those who defend "His people", the Jewish people. If we ever turn our back on Israel (like Obama's circle of friends would like us to do), we will face damage to our nation.

I have a handicap aunt that is 43 years of age, my grandparents have taken care of her all their life, and have been helped out using government aid. In most Republicans minds this is a handout. Who fought to give my aunt and other mentally ill people funding...THE DEMOCRATS, if it was the Republicans choice she would be rotting in a home or worse dead. Yes I know Palin has a handicap child...yet she cut mental health funding in her own state.

And the majority of people are tired of people not working for their keep. Being jealous of people who have worked for their wealth is your problem as well as those like you. Get a job.

2. He is being proclaimed as Savior, and Alpha and Omega, and adulation from the people - same as Hitler.

3. He sought complete gun control ban in the Illinois Senate - Hitler got complete gun control before he went nuts.

4. He has attempted to silence free speech rights by threats and intimidation - same as Hitler.

5. He has instituted 'Obama Youth' with songs to the savior Obama - Hitler had Hitler Youth praising the savior Hitler.

6. He has promised re-education camps and has already institution 'Camp Obama' - and Hitler had his camps........

The "proof," as has been presented, is the part of the fiscal 2007 budget for the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development, which includes funding for the Alaska School for the Deaf, students who are patients at the Alaska Psychiatric Hospital, and the Alaska Challenge Youth Academy, a statewide, boot-camp-style program. The budget that year was $8,265,300.

But the next year, fiscal 2008, the budget is shown as $3,156,000, leading to the accusation that Palin cut the department's budget.

The difference in funding, however, is because the Alaska Challenge Youth Academy moved to a budget line item of its own. In the fiscal 2009 budget, you can see that the academy alone has a budget of $6,082,100. When you add that to the $3,156,000 that is being spent on all the other projects, it adds up to $9,238,100--an approximately 12 percent INCREASE in spending on all those particular programs, put together, since fiscal 2007.

Reader "Sunny" asked in the comments why Palin was originally reluctant to sign the education bill, as stated in the Anchorage Daily News article I quote above. A short article I found in the newspaper's archives suggests that she didn't want to sign the bill because she wanted more money for schools included in it:

Palin hinted on Thursday that she could veto the bill, which was based on recommendations from this summer's Joint Legislative Education Task Force and had widespread support from lawmakers.

Palin wanted to raise the base student allocation, currently $5,380 per pupil, by $200, but the Legislature only approved $100.
