I think the country is obsessed with Sarah because she is like the girl next door, the average citizen, the hockey mom that you can relate too, the HOT librarian you always wanted to ask out but never had the nerves. lol

But you honestly think she can sit down with the world leaders and rub shoulders let alone make the deals with them?? Heck even the president of Iran can eat her alive if it came to debates, does she even know where Iran is on the map? If she can see Russia from her house, I guess she can see Iran from her bedroom window???

Bottomline, Americans are excited about this woman and she does not have any foreign policy experience. The only reason McCain picked her is to save his own ass from losing the election because he knew she can win the popularity contest against Obama.

Obama doen't know that Canada has a Prime Minister and not a President. Obama doesn't know that Russia has veto power in the UN. Obama thinks the USA has 57 states. And he's running for President, not VP.

Doesn't scare me. First, Alaska deals daily with the incursion of Russian military jets over its territory. I think she has an idea what it is like to have to deal with people who do not have America's safety in their heart.

Second, what experience does Obama have? It was he would met with and illegally urged the Iraqis to stop the negotiations regarding the military pull out. Sounds to me like he knows nothing about how you deal with foreign relations.

Third, in truth, neither did Carter, Reagan, Clinton or Bush 43 have much foreign policy experience. In fact, they had little to none. That is why you surround yourself with people who do. Reagan and Bush 43 did that. Carter and Clinton, not so much.

Besides, she is the one running for VP, not President. The Democrats have it the other way around. The President candidate has no foreign experience since even with his closest contact he wasn't there to get involved. He hasn't even held on meeting with the under-committee of that committee when he was chair.

If anything, we should be absolutely panicked about Obama, not Palin, when it comes to foreign experience. The truth is McCain has more foreign policy experience than just about anyone who campaigned for the Presidency this present political cycle.

Obama is right we need to sit down at the table with Iran and sort out our differences, war is not going to solve our problems.

Obama is flat stupid or at the very least naive if he thinks ANYTHING ever would happen sitting down with the Iranian President. In case you haven't noticed, the guy is crazy. You don't deal with people who are not in touch with reality.

Let's see . . . John McCain actually shows up and works at his job in Congress where he was first elected in 1982. It was through his efforts that the US normalized relationships with Viet Nam. He has done more with his life for the United States than Oama ever even thought of doing.

Obama . . . what has he ever accomplished . . . ever? Have you seen that housing he supposedly helped to build in Chicago? It is a ghetto. He is the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee for European Affairs and has never even called a meeting of the committee. For the 3 years he has been Senator, more than 2 of them he has spent running for President. He does not have the credentials to serve as President. He is a fraud.

What experience did Lincoln have?
Face it, no president or vice today runs it alone. They are surrounded by advisers, cabinet, Secretary of State, and so on. they only need to be good managers.
OTOH, their more relaxed, real-person styles might put a few other leaders at ease. Might take them off-guard.
How many presidents get into the job fully experienced? Name a few............
For today's challenges, one must be more familiar with differences in cultures, societies, etc. - more aware. Sometimes assuming you "have experience" blinds you to those differences.
I submit to you that because of my intense studies and observation skills, I myself could do better than Obama or Biden and I'm not joking. I'm a problem-solver. That's been the sort of work I do - I design solutions. Yes, they have been mechanical or computer related, but all involved PEOPLE. I can figure out what they want, need, their problems, and help find a solution.

You can only negotiate with those who intend you kill you if they truly believe that you would seriously kill them first to prevent it.
Unless you go to the table with power, and the will to use it, it's a poker game, they win. You must be willing to play hard, bluff at times, in order to win. No one said they'd shoot first, then ask questions, but it's a ploy used by presidents for decades, let it be known that you have the force and aren't afraid to use it, then the other side is more willing to talk.
Why do you think that Iran, N.Korea and others thumb their noses at us now? Because our congress and others have made it known that we won't use force and are against war at all costs, we are unwilling to defend ourselves.
Do you ever play poker? If so, I bet you lose a lot...........
Ever meet a bear in the woods? You act big and fierce and unafraid, and the bear might just run. Act like you'll tear his head off with your bare hands and you stand a chance.
Same for people. You don't have to shoot the gun, but wave it in their face and they're gonna be more likely to listen! And you get what you need without ever firing a shot.
