HC Bill be dead if the Gov. was VP?
In November of 2008 America didn’t give much thought to the fact that The Vice President of the United States in HER role as President of the Senate overrides the Parliamentarian of the United States Senate with regard to the interpretation of the rules of order. In other words a Vice President Palin would likely have ruled that that any new law allowing the federal funding of abortion is a non-budgetary matter and does not qualify under the senate reconciliation rules. This situation would have caused the entire heath care bill to be sent back to the House of Representatives for reconsideration.

Bottom line: In an election a vote for the Vice President is a “Big *** deal”!
