Just wondering where everyone went and if there are any plans to continue this forum or go elsewhere?

I did join "We did not vote for Obama" forum and have been posting there since. Miss you guys ;-)

Alas...most people left due to having to tend to other things. Since the election over it's not as imperative to come on here...as for me, I check up on this site every morning but I'm not online as much, as I have finals coming up

If you mean the search for intelligent life in the universe, the last election proves we might as well all pack up our SETI gear and give up. There is none.

Well...I still blog @ We did not vote for Obama (pretty much daily). There are a lot of people from the HCF and from other places as well. The one common denominator being a true dislike for BO. Very informative and it's a way to vent out after a VERY frustrating election. You all should join in. It's a private forum so no "lurking' from outsiders (which I like). Ebinger is on there as well.

Ah...good to see familiar faces on the forum. The past election had taken a lot of me...hence enjoying my time being away from the mere mention of political discussion but fear not this is temporary. I have to admit it. My liberal friends were right.

They told me if I voted for McCain, the nation's Hope would deteriorate, and sure enough there has been a 20 point drop in the Consumer Confidence Index since the election, reaching a lower point than any time during the Bush administration.

They told me if I voted for McCain, the US would become more deeply embroiled in the Middle East, and sure enough tens of thousands of additional troops are scheduled to be deployed into Afghanistan .

They told me if I voted for McCain, that the economy would get worse and sure enough unemployment is approaching 9% and the new so called stimulus packages implemented recently have sent the stock market lower than at any time since 9-11.

They told me if I voted for McCain, we would see more "crooks" in high ranking positions in Federal government and sure enough, several recent cabinet nominees and Senate appointments revealed resumes of bribery and tax fraud.

Well I ignored my Democrat friends in November and voted for McCain. And they were right.... All of their predictions have come true

RIGHT, so where is everyone?? everyone must be HAPPY??????
