Okay maybe not big but bigger then bush in 04.. let me explain
polls skewed in favor of obama - If you look at a lot of the polls out there, anywhere between 70-75 percent of voters being polled are registered democrats and independents. meaning only 25-30 percent are republican meaning 75 percent of the people polled could be favored towards obama. WHY is this?
Since bush more then 1 million republicans have left the party. THIS IS TRUE.. however what many don't factor in is that JUST because there's less republicans, DOES NOT mean there's less consv in this country. Many consv in 2006 stayed home as punishment for the republican controlled congress because of immigration policies and spending etc.. We are EASILY under polled by 4 POINT margin.. Those consv that aren't being counted as republicans in the polling will ALL go towards mccain.
Bradley Affect A "friend" of mine asked me a few days ago who am I voting for, and me not wanting to start a fight over politics because it could get ugly (she's a big obama supporter) I told her I will vote for obama. Well, the first thing im doing nov 4th is going to vote for mccain. I just dont feel like being called a racist. i think in polls SEVERAL points as low as 2 points and as high as 4 points are being skewed by the bradly affect. (for anyone who doesnt know what Bradley affect is, its basically voters telling polling people that they'll vote for the black candidate when they have no intention of doing so just so they don't get labeled a racist) meaning just because of the Bradley affect he's polling anywhere from 2-4 points higher then he actually is.
Polls in general
As many pumas supporters know first hand, Obama did much better in polls then he did in actual election nights. Why? Bad polling data, bradly effect, and what many don't realize is many of the polls being done, Zogby , Cbs, assocaited press, time warner, newsweek, Cnn ,mbc, these polls are being done BY PRO obama networks/org.. In short, mccain and obama are playing a game in which the scoring is being done by judges who are blatantly pro one sided.. in this case pro obama..
Southern States The ONLY reason obama won against Hillary (although Hillary got more votes and obama cheated) is because of SOUTHERN states.. like north Carolina for example or Georgia.. When he went against Hillary, 50 percent of the dem voters in those states were AFRICAN AMERICAN. 90 percent of which voted for obama.. When 90 percent of 50 voters go one way Hillary had NO CHANCE in those states (talk about voting based on race). However Those southern states that obama won? he will LOSE in the general election. MEANING for him to win, he cant compete in the strong states that went for him against Hillary because those he will lose to mccain, BUT IN HES WEAKEST states that he lost to Hillary, Ohio, Michigan, PA, Florida.
Palin factor
The palin factor has energized MANY consv republicans and good amount of independents towards mccain. SHe has brought life to his campaign and palin gaved to what mccain what he didn't have before. ENERGY and EXCITMENT!
Pumas The great pumas! pumas are going to truly make the difference in key states. On Ohio and PA and Michigan and Wisconsin. You will bring mccain/palin home.
Some wild cards The media is pro obama, and will do ANYTHING and i mean ANYTHING it can to get obama elected, they felt they didn't do enough for Kerry so this time its all out war. This is the wild card that helps obama big time. Will see how this has an affect on obama.
Anyway I predict that mccain will lose iowa and probebly either NM or colorado. BUT he will win PA Michigan and wiscon or a combination of these states that will bring him and palin the presidency.
Any thoughts welcome!

I am inclined to agree with you, but I will not let my optimism to deny the horror that an Obama Commie USA would be.
To the PUMAs here. Though we may have some policy differences, I have no doubt of your love for this country and our freedoms. Some wise words were written once: "Come let us reason together." We do not have to abandon our convictions to discuss the issues and work for a better country.

I think McCain will win big in the EC too, Obama and his operatives are falling apart. Some of his latest ads are downright bizarre, and he'll look terrible standing next to McCain in the two debates.
Obama is running out of money and rethinking his strategy, but they don't seem to know what they're doing. McCain has built a coalition of conservative Republicans and moderate Democrats and Independents that can't be broken.

I certainly hope and praying fervently that you are right! I admit to being shaken up this morning - WOW what a nightmare I had last night!!!
I dreamed Obama won this thing......and he won through a tremendous amount of voter fraud and the work of ACORN.
Man what a nightmare. I still think McCain needs to be up huge in every state in order to effectively battle ACORN. Its just too close for my comfort level right now!

Re: You guys might think im crazy, but i think mccain will win big
Now don't take this wrong, although I think Bill Clinton actually DID do some good for the U.S. and made some progress (welfare reform was under his watch, after-all), I was generally not a fan of his, and by association, Hillary. I thought she was divisive, FAR left, extreme, I just didn't care for her.
Now, post-primary, I still don't care for Bill, but have a certain different feeling for Hillary.
You Hillary supporters can thank yourselves for that! Seriously, the hillaryis44 site, the Hillary people here, everywhere, Hillary people have been good, kind, not extreme and generally well-behaved.
You should be proud.
This may sound weird, but when John McCain and Sarah Palin are sworn in next January I hope McCain reserves a spot for her as an adviser or cabinet member, something. She's no dummy.
Can I say this here? Hillary got screwed in the primaries. Period. It was not a fair fight, but then no fight Obama has won was fair.
I'd still vote McCain/Palin over Hillary/??? no doubt but my formerly very bad opinions of her have changed.

As the election gets closer and more Obama supporters literally get in our faces, many of us will say we are voting for Obama. It's already happening where I live to the point that I got an Obama button to wear on public transportation. The unhinged will get more unhinged as the election approaches. Before I got the button, I was called a racist and I don't even want to go there. I totally agree with Bill D that Obama stole the primary. After all the Dem talk of disenfranchising voters, they did it to the biggest block of Dems, women and men, too, who were Hillary supporters.

I've always thought McCain would win this election, especially after Hillary Clinton was cheated out of the nomination. McCain has proven that he has character and integrity. Obama doesn't like it when McCain's military service is mentioned, but McCain has served this county honorably and Obama cannot take that away from him.

I'm so tired of reading of people 'afraid' of being called a racist. I guess being a 40+ year old white male who by definition is politically incorrect and racist....I just don't give a rat's rear end......In fact, I welcome the ignorant claims. Nothing like a good laugh in life. People must stop being candy butts and fearful of idiotic lies. Grow a set, folks. Say nothing, but trying to be appear to be something you aren't (an obama voter) is cowardice where I come from.

Everyone that knows me knows exactly who I'm voting for. I make no excuses for my beliefs or convictions. I am a minority at work (including family members), but I could care less. I will have my McCain/Palin sticker on my office door soon and my bumper sticker on my car. I will proudly wear this tank top shirt I got today that says "Read My Lipstick" - vote Mccain/Palin. I LOVE IT

LOL thanks, Bill. I'm just stubborn that way. I actually wore my "Kiss my Lipstick" Tshirt today and got a few stares and an elderly couple even complimented me on it

McCain Winning Big
The only crazy people are on the left.
At this point I see no hope for their recovery and sorry to say, I don't wish them well.

In all honesty I'd hope that traditional Democrats make their own party and ditch the current one. It's dragging them down, and screams socialism.
The traditional Dems are shaking their heads at what has happened. I seriously hope something like that happens and we can regain our patriotism back.

Yes, he stole the primary and was "selected" I can't wait to see him trouced for real here in Florida on 11/4.Barb wrote:As the election gets closer and more Obama supporters literally get in our faces, many of us will say we are voting for Obama. Is there any hope at all for people, like me, who live in California. I will definitely be voting McCain/Palin as will my Dem wife, who went from Hillary supporter to no way Obama to hurray for Mcain/Palin. But I see no way of preventing Oblamo from getting our 55 votes

Wills, I live in NY so I understand exactly what you mean. My area is republican but NY City has us outnumbered. In my area, I have seen no lawn signs for either candidate and I've only seen two bumber stickers, one for each side, but the OBLAHma bumper sticker had out of state plates on the car.
