What if they picked different VP running mates?
I applaud this forum. But I also look at the polls and don't see any chance of the ticket catching up, bar a major event. There are flaws on both sides. I would like to see some discussion on what do you think the polls would look like if the tickets were different... say
John McCain / Hillarry Clinton
John Mccain / Mitt Romney
John McCain / Rudy Giuliani
Obama / Hillary Clinton
Obama / John McCain
Obama / Colin Powell
And my opinion? (I am on the fence with my vote so far, but I think Obama is going to win easily if the polls stay the same). If anything this should be fun.
I await my beating

From what I am reading, the polls are weighted to the Dems for no particular reason. I think it is because of all the fraudulent voting registration. As long as Obama's campaign and all of the media think those polls, especially Gallup, Rasmussen and Battleground, are correct, hopefully that will mean they are going to have a rude awakening coming up.

Polls are Polls, and can be full of errors. But look back historically what they mean and the accuracy they portray. They are still done in the same way, either by phone or in person. No pollster would call a regietered democart and expect to get a republician indicator for the poll.
Internet polls are historically flawed. Take for instanve the Matt Dudge polls... they sawy almost 80% to McCain. That's because DFrudges readers are mostly republician.. go figure.
Polls are important.
I agree that they are flawed to some extent, but if the spread gets to be 12 points or more (with error margin of +3-4), the election will go the way of the polls.
I'm still kind of on the fence with my vote. I've been reading many internet sites, watching lots of news from bothe sides, and I've been to both parties campaign events. I could go on and on with what I have learned and seen. About 80% garbage and lies from both sides.I will make up my mind a few days after the next debate.

McCain/Palin is fine with me.
Obama just needs to be off the ticket.

Any combo without Obama, but I like the McCain/Palin combo.
