Anyone remember several months ago, when Barack Obama grabbed the Democrat Party’s nomination for President? The press and airwaves were full of the screams of rage from Hillary supporters who were certain, certain! That the nomination had been stolen from Ms. Clinton. All that we could see on TV for weeks were outraged women – and a few metrosexual men – staring wildly into the camera and screaming that Hillary had been cheated and been disrespected and “thrown under the bus” by Obama supporters. Nightly TV news began to look like sessions of the Massachusetts Legislature debating raising their own salaries. Again. We heard daily that Obama supporters would either stay home this November, vote for McCain, or write-in Hillary. “NOBAMA” groups were springing-up from Boston to Seattle. It looked like Obama would be crushed by this torrent of righteous outrage.

But a funny thing happened since then. All those outraged Hillary supporters – disappeared. All that energy, that fury, that righteous indignation. Except for Harriett Christian still making noise on the national scene – gone, she and the few like her out there now national jokes, their videos shown for laughs on Obama supporters’ blogs. The polls show Obama with a small but consistent lead over McCain (although it’s true that the polls ALWAYS show the Dem ahead, even when the Dem eventually loses). And the Outraged Hillary Supporters? Gone. Perhaps abducted by aliens from the planet Amazon. Perhaps dedicated to staying stoned until November 6. Perhaps off to a secret, privately owned island to regroup and repair. Or more likely, snuggly back in the embrace of Democrat Party Ubergovernment, which is promising them “visibility and respect” in the coming administration of The One.

I really hope that's not true. The Hillary supporters I've met and spoken w/ are all too intelligent to fall into the Obama trap. For one thing if Obama wins, Hillary can't run until 2016 and that's bad business for the Hillary people.

Hopefully it's just the supporters falling quite again, because they're tired of all the harassment they are getting from their own party(the far more extreme part of it). Much like Palin supporters have to keep quiet in many areas because otherwise they'll have to endure listening to Obana drones spout out all those wonderful lies/misinformation/propoganda they've been taught by the MSM.

We have a few Hillary supporters on these forums I believe. Maybe some of them could help clear this up?

Folks..don't worry the movement hasn't ceded a bit but as Nariman has mentioned in his post the majority like to keep it under wraps because some of the BO supporters are just vile. You all need to understand that a lot of them are in the age demographic of 40+ , senior citizens ( women). The current treatment of palin should be an example of what HRC had her supporters had to face on a daily basis. The far left is just out of bound. Its easy for me to voice my opinion which I do ..i am a 25 yr old male living in dallas..and all poeple around me know that I am voting early for JM. I have been able to convince a lot of my friends who were in the sidelines to switch. Believe the debate performance helped quite a bit. Now for some facts!

A recent ABC/Wash Post poll said around 42% of HRC supporters are not voting for BO. Out of which 20-25% are JM voters while others are undecided but not BO. As expected HRC has given her supprot to BO ..its tough for her supporters to openly disagree with her..everyone has a life but there are some prominent ones who have switched...like Donald trump, two of her most prominent hispanic backers, rothschild.

I have a question for any Hillary supporters who are here, or even anyone who followed the Democratic primaries. It seems to me that whenever Palin says anything remotely intelligent, the MSM insists that she must've just memorized speeches. It's like they can't believe she could possibly come up with an intelligent thought all by herself, so she must've just memorized something someone else told her to say. Part of me wonders if it really is sexism, but part of me also wonders if it's that they can't believe someone can be attractive and intelligent at the same time.

So my question is this. Did they ever make these suggestions about Hillary Clinton? Did they attribute everything she said to memorized speeches, or did they at least give her credit for having a brain in her head?

I guess it just really got on my nerves after Chris Matthews' comments saying she was just reciting speeches and calling her a "dolt" for looking straight into the camera and addressing us at home.

I visit the HRC forum on a daily basis and I can assure you that these women AND men are not silent. They are actively campaigning for McCain/Palin and following this race very closely. It is thanks to them that I found this forum and have a new found respect for Hillary Clinton. These PUMAs are 100% behind Sarah and McCain. I gotta give 'em props for that!

Agreed. I've changed my views about Hillary because of these people. They are very smart folks......
They need to know that what they are doing is actually helping some folks, like myself, see another side of her and her followers.

Same here, the only difference between me and them is that some of them think there's hope for reform within the Democrat Party, but I seriously doubt it. The far left is in control of that party, and it's going to take a massive defeat for the Howard Deans and Harry Reids to get out and let the DLC take charge - but that's happened before, and just some new moonbats fly in and undo any *moderate* reforms. There is no true "centrist" party, but the GOP tends to govern towards the center, so maybe I'm some kind of screwed-up Republican now.

When they put Dean as Chairman of the party, it was a clear sign that the Democratic party has totally lost its way. It is my hope that there are still some good Dems in the party who will stand up fo the ideals of FDR.

WOW, the PUMAs and others are VERY vocal at the hillary forum. WOW.
They are really challanging Republicans to get off their a%%es and do something!

I just cruised by there and hit a thread - geesh, these people are serious - ANYONE but Obama.
They even seem to think that Palin is helping their cause just by being a woman and being Sarah (a strong vocal woman) and I gotta agree. In supporting Sarah Palin (and thus John) they are also supporting Hillary and women like them.
