Just an FYI
I've noticed this boards logs me out a lot. I was just making a post and it logged me out and I completely lost what I'd written. Maybe it's something I'm doing... I don't know.

I haven't had that happen once I'm logged in - but even though I have the log in checked to be automatic - I have to always log in with my user name & password.

Clear your browser cache, make sure cookies are enabled.
( I checked chocolate chip and peanut butter, but any will do)
Seriously, not sure, but my own forum requires cookies...
I've not seen the "kicked out" or "logged out" issue with this forum...

Possible solution
Hey guys, it looks like the problem is not that uncommon w/ forumation because they had a faq specifically solving it. Hope this helps solve your problem w/ this issue.
http://help.forumotion.com/frequently-asked-questions-f5/log-in-problems-t45.htm
Here are the basics to the faq:
W/ Internet Explorer go into Internet Options in the tools tab at the top of the browser.
Go to the Privacy Tab and set it to Medium to Medium-High
For Firefox(I copy and pasted from the faq directly):
Select "Tools" in your main menu bar and choose "Options". Click now on the "Privacy" tab. In the Cookies-section, click on the button labeled "Exceptions". Enter your forum address (for example: http://help.forumotion.com) and click on the "Allow" button. If you have a customized domain name, add both your custom domain and your original forum address.
