I think Joe ought to run for POTUS. This is proof that Obama has absolutely no idea what the working class or "common folk" go through. He's just throwing a temper tantrum because he did not get his way, Joe is in favor of the Mac-ster.

Shows you how scared BO is of an average everyday "Joe" cuz he knows this is exactly what the McCain campaign needs to show the stark differences between their policies.

If Obama is indeed elected and this runs it course we can all expect to be ruled by the elites. A new class system of them and us and them will have everything and we'll be lucky to even feed our families.

Wow, bots attacking a civilian that disagrees with bamas policies. This is not new, it's been happening for some time now. One of the many reasons I am no longer a dem.

So you can't be a hardworking plumber? That was a really condensending remark, who does he think the average american is? Not everyone who's successful wears a suit and works in a glass building for 8 hours. And the thing is, 90% of the people Obama is pandering to, are people who are plumbers/roofers/repair men/the hard working class of our country. I guess his mouth was missing his foot since his Pennsylvania comment, and he needed an excuse to put his foot back. Maybe people will see him for what he really is... a load of cr**.

Fact - Joe is an apprentice. His boss/employer DOES, repeat DOES have a license - it's listed on an Ohio state web site, along with many more licenses. 5 digits, I think it starts with a 3 but can't recall - I looked last night. As an apprentice, he's working under the direct supervision of his boss. At least that's how I recall working as an electrician, but then later got an electricians "maintenance license" that covered my place of employment so I could maintain all electrical systems there.
Bottom line, we need to correct even the MSM now who are stating "his boss and he aren't even licensed".
AND, why do they care that Joe's CURRENT income is under 250,000? He was talking about WHEN he BUYS his boss's business and LATER adds trucks (and when an electrician or plumber speak of adding trucks, that REALLY means adding PEOPLE/workers! He was talking of buying it, expanding, THEN making 250,000 - which IS realistic!)

I'm sick to death of ALL MSM right now and refuse to even watch the evening news!

Yesterday, the Tanning Bed Media discovered unpaid tax liens against Joe Wurzelbacher. Two days ago, we would have said, “Who?” He’s better known this week as Joe the Plumber after his impromptu dialogue with Barack Obama produced a blatantly redistributionist answer from the Democratic presidential candidate.

In their haste to pillory Joe for the audacity of asking a tough question of Obama, the Tanning Bed Media missed a couple of other interesting tax liens. Patterico does the work of the TBM:

Oh — I almost forgot to mention: Martin Nesbitt, the treasurer of Obama’s campaign, has tax liens. So do his companies. You’d think that matters more than the tax liens of Joe the Plumber, wouldn’t you? But good luck finding a Big Media story about Nesbitt’s liens.

If tax liens are such an indicator of character and trustworthiness, wouldn’t it have more significance for the treasurer of a presidential campaign than for a man who just asked a question of the candidate? If the national media has such an interest in investigating a plumber who made a couple of national appearances, why wouldn’t they have at least the same interest in the people running a major party presidential campaign? Of course not. The same people who instruct us that Barack Obama’s 20-year membership in Jeremiah Wright’s church while Wright called 9/11 “chickens coming home to roost” now interrogate Joe the Plumber on national TV about his brief flirtation with the Natural Law Party.

Because, you know, associations matter when choosing a plumber, but apparently not when choosing a President.

BOSTON — Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama got more than an education when he attended Harvard Law School in the late 1980s. He also got a healthy stack of parking tickets, most of which he never paid.

The Illinois Senator shelled out $375 in January _ two weeks before he officially launched his presidential campaign _ to finally pay for 15 outstanding parking tickets and their associated late fees.

From a blog I was reading:

I spoke to a two of my friends that have plumbing companies and they stated that "joe" is called a technician and works under the owners license and they go through extensive training and qualifications. They are drug tested and get background checks. When Joe buys the plumbing company he will have to get his own license which this Joe may be studying for already. I also asked about the ability to make money as I know the one friend makes tons. He stated that their workmans comp is 42 cents on the dollor and their liability is 32k a year and then there is auto insurance for working vans. I know he provides health and dental. He stated their profit is at 28% so they have to gross alot to make 250k but they do, they focus on alot of sewer replacement and repair and they net about 360k a year. He stated the can channel this money but with obamas plan he believes the channeling will be block, less areas of writeoffs. I will check into that more. I think it is funny someone would say this guy was a plant, even if he was I am glad that it made obamas true plan come out. We should plant more people if it is so efffective

Your hard work and sweat shouldn’t be spread around and no one should ever make you spread your wealth around. If you have that mentality to go work hard then that money should be yours. Sure we know we have to pay taxes but every one needs to be involved in paying in taxes, not just the wealthy,or the not so wealthy. If Obama does become President which I pray he doesn’t, no one will ever have that urge to go after that American Dream.

A license isn't necessary for employees. I have a license, and my employees work under my license.

About liens . . . you may have a lien filed against you and not know it. Sometimes, liens are filed, paid and then never released until someone reminds the lienholder that there is a lien that needs to be released. You may never find out about it until you are needing a loan.
