Barack Obama is not the “map changer” CNN and all the discredited Democratic blogs claimed he would be; he is a supercilious underachiever who promises to color the entire nation red, not blue. He is tied with McCain in Minnesota and Pennsylvania; he is trailing McCain in Ohio AND MICHIGAN; he is CLINGING to a lead in New Jersey; and women in New York state are abandoning the Democratic ticket, thereby catapulting McCain-Palin within striking distance of Obama-Biden in a state Gore and Kerry won by 25 and 17 points respectively: portentous numbers, these, but the Democratic Party refused to listen when we warned them about this during the primary season. Democrats, I guess, want to lose. Indeed, they seem to enjoy it.

Hey there, pumacalli, interesting read. Of all those states mentioned in the article, the only one I'm not so sure that BO will lose in is NY, but it still possible he could screw up in any state, save MA and DC.

The blue states are turning purple, there is a trend toward red nationwide. Maybe the 50 state strategy means he'll lose them all. Very Happy

Methinks the bloom is off the rose. Palin's Research 2000 Tracking Poll favorability/unfavorability split on September 11 was 52/35. As of today, less than a week later, it has crashed to 45/44. It appears that her utter unpreparedness for the vice presidency and her and McCain's inability to say ANYTHING truthful have begun to sink their campaign - rapidly.

Interesting. So these negatives have nothing to do with the persistent smear campaign in the media and among Obama's netroots army of angry dork virgins?

Whoa there, what about the other 7 states? Seems your map is missing a few.
Remember, he was visiting all 57?
Was that when he recognized several fallen heroes in the crowd?
Or was that after he told us of his uncle participating with the Russian army in freeing the Jewish from that German camp?
