Here comes the counter-attack..

Watch out! And it's announced by our friends at politico........ those same folks who feel it's necessary to know how many homes a candidate owns.
Now the problem is, most folks don't know that McCain was found NOT GUILTY of any wrong-doing at all. He even said that meeting was bad judgement, admitted it. You can find some detail in wikipedia.
However, this will kill the "guilt by association" arguments since McCain himself was only "associated with" in that he had a meeting with guilty parties, he was there. So, Obama is going to say "sauce for the goose....." and so America is going to side with Obama on this one. Gee, if Obama is a bad person because he met with and knows bad people, then McCain must also be a bad person.
Here it comes - gloves off, both sides.

Pushing back against what it calls “guilt-by-association” tactics by McCain, the Obama campaign is e-mailing millions of supporters a link to a website, KeatingEconomics.com, that will have a 13-minute documentary on the scandal beginning at noon Eastern time on Monday. The overnight e-mails urge recipients to pass the link on to friends.

The Obama campaign, including its surrogates appearing on radio and television, will argue that the deregulatory fervor that caused massive, cascading savings-and-loan collapses in the last ‘80s was pursued by McCain throughout his career, and helped cause the current credit crisis.

What I find most intriguing about the Obama counter attack is that McCain's association with Charles Keating has been thoroughly investigated with McCain's full cooperation and McCain was exonerated.

Apparently, even questioning Obama's associations wreaks of racism.

McCain was cleared. Obama has never been cleared of his associations, so now we can further focus on Wright along with Ayres and we can add in Odinga, Khalidi, Mansour, Rezko, etc. etc. etc.

The Keating thing is soooooo yesterday! That is over and done. Both CNN and Fox covered it when they did their specials about the life of John McCain. He was completely exonerated.

Obama won't release even his college records. Everything about him is a secret. Besides, Obama and his goons have already been doing the smearing. What about all the junk about Sarah?

To normal Americans the very idea that a person would LAUNCH their political career in the living room of a terrorist couple is damning enough if the argument is made properly.

This isn't a smear, innuendo or guilt by association. It shouldn't even matter if Obama is lying about the extent of his relationship with Ayers. What kind of person feels comfortable being in the home of a man who doesn't regret bombing government buildings and had his own girlfriend blown up when making a bomb designed by him to kill multiple soldiers at a dance at Fort Dix, New Jersey? His wife is another Weather Underground lowlife who famously celebrated radicals killing Pigs (cops). And in a rather touching move, this wonderful couple raised the son of Kathy Boudin, another terrorist who went to prison for the Brinx armored car robbery, and did such a great job that young Chesa (isn't that freaking adorable! Get it? Like, Che) went on to work for Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.
