trolling, trolling, trolling...

Heard last night that O has "upward of 200 PAID trolls" on the web hitting forums and sites for O's team........... I wonder how many PAID HACKERS!
This supposedly came from a person who works in the O campaign.

Geesh, to get paid to hack! To get paid to TROLL! WOW, I could do that (but not for THAT team)

Yup, those O Trolls are everywhere on the Internet. And it's apparent that they work in gangs, too. About 3 or 4 of them will show up on a forum (these forums aren't political either) and take over a thread and drive anybody who disagrees with them out of the thread. What's also apparent is many of the forums have members who are part of the silent majority and prefer to wait until election day to put the trolls in their place.

I am sorry, but that kind of stuff really scares me. I am a student of WWII. It is giving me nightmares.

I guess the only way to deal with those people is to completely ignore them and continue your thread conversation as if they never posted. If they start a thread of their own, ignore it. That's my two cents, anyway.

Personally, I can't imagine why they'd waste money paying trolls to come on forums when they're never going to change anybody's minds there. At best they'll make a nuisance of themselves, but that's hardly going to win votes. Why pay people to do that?

I think it's great how many of you think I'm a paid troll. I'm not, I simply want to provide a response to highly negative comments directed at Obama / Biden that casual visitors read. It's great because they then see the forums user reponse to my posts that being TROLL...yet never an actual answer with logical thought.

Well honestly a few of your responses are pretty trollish PalinRocks7. I mean to try and say because I think Biden is a scoundrel because he uses tax payers money to mow his lawn I must some how be implying that I enjoy watching him suffer from the death of his loved ones is pretty outlandish and somewhat insulting. It would be like me saying you must hate special needs children because you think your not a troll. One has nothing to do w/ the other.

So it's pretty obvious you said it to try and piss people off and to get an emotional response, or, no offense to idiots, but your an idiot, but I've read your other posts, and to me you seem relatively intelligent, so I'm going to lean toward the former.

I agree and I appreciate the way they handle trolls at hcf. Just ban and delete. Let them whine about their First Amendment right somewhere else.

I admit it's important to see these people once in a while. They serve as a reminder of the controlling and belligerent mind set of the folks who want to take control of your healthcare. It wasn't long ago that the most liberal Democrats were saying "Government should never have control over a woman's body." Now they think government (led and controlled by them and the like minded) should have control over everyone's body. Scary, huh?

Anyway, much-appreciated moderators, how about making SPF a troll-free zone?

Far from the truth, pretty funny though. I'm actually really happy about Barack's campaign. He's up in nearly every political poll, is going to win Michigan (that's huge this time around), his camp has one both debates, and everything about him makes me excited and fired up for this election. Angry? Why would I be, he's going to win, how can't he after what has happened during the last eight years? Now you guys should be angry, after 8 years of failure I certainly would be.

Why is that? Do you have any concrete evidence that he is capable of bringing about the change he promises? Nariman, on another forum, I was about to ban this Obama-bot, but I decided to ask him if he was being paid and if so, how much. He said $7/hr. I told him that sucked, but he said it was okay since all he ever did was to c/p Obama bot talking points.

I really don't know the troll protocol here, but they need a subforum or something, else they drive off all the normal posters with their childish insults. I think the internet is one of the worst ways to evangelize, you know what they can do with their cult of personality garbage.

I have "officially" posted the troll issue to the moderators. I hope something can be done. We are wasting time going back and forth with this IDIOT who apparently has a lot of free time and very little brain cells.

The best way to deal with the idiot is to ignore him or her. I personally think it is hilarious that the communist, Obama, pays trolls. Think about it . . . you have to be a very small person with very little personal integrity to troll. Then add to it getting paid. Talk about being a LOSER!
