Everywhere I go, whether it be school, on the road, out with friends, the TV, magazines, the radio, the internet, it seems like there are always a few leftists ready to start a riot.
At school, professors have made snide comments. There was a school, I forget which one it is, that is offering EXTRA CREDIT to kids who help out Obama.
On the road, nothing but Obama signs and bumper stickers.
My friends are all young liberals, a few ARE for McCain (thank god) but I know some are dems, since I;ve known them forever.
The TV always has something negative to say. Whether it be news or entertainment, or even kids' shows. Award shows have lately been the most powerful with their liberal agendas.
I go to the store and see 3 magazines or news papers bashing the hell out of Sarah Palin like she was the anti-christ.
The radio plays music by artists who not only endourse Obama, but insult those who don't. My list of celebs that I can't listen to due to ignorant comments is growing (except Bad Religion, their music is too good...they are actually educated and I pretty much know their agenada up-front, but they make some pretty good songs so I'll swallow my pride for that one)
The internet is the worst. I went on IMDb (internet movie database) to look at the "Silent Hill" forums. (it is a video game turned into a movie and the movie is about 2/3 yrs old now) and today a new post by some kid who said it related to politics and had a link to ABC's website. Of course it was a bashing thread, no one replied in it though. I checked the kids stats and he/she posted in the political forum A LOT. They have been busy, over the course of 6 days they managed to rack up about 10 pages of posts. A vast majority bashing Sarah Palin, saying stupid people vote for her, etc.
Blogs are everywhere and anyone can say anything they wany without getting into physical confrontation; their ugly shines through.

I feel like I can no longer speak my mind. I KNOW there are more conservatives out there, if not, than there are just as many conservatives as there are liberals. I just wish they would come out of the woodwork and speak up. I would, but I'd be a one-man army. It gets very frustrating. Why is the left so vile, vicious, ignorant, and intolerant? Does it bother anyone else that we are deemed as "stupid"? As much as I cannot stand Obama, I never once stated that his supporters were stupid. All I have to do is state who I am voting for, and I get attacked. This is what makes me think twice about posting or speaking up.
My professors will grade me wrongly, my friends will judge me harshly, I might as well live under a rock as the MSM is humping Obama's leg 24/7, and if I show support via bumper sticker, my car will get vandalized.

Instead of showing love for Obama, they show 100% total hatred and DISGUST for conservatives and McCain/Palin. We may crack jokes about Obama and his "followers" and we might get frustrated, but I believe this shows we have good cause and reason to. We are getting bullied, and WE are being called the bullies! We are getting judged for our choices, yet are being called INTOLERANT! They call themselves peaceful lovers while they throw Molotov cocktail bombs at innocent people and "kidnap" delegates! And we REPUBLICANS are the "violent ones", always! Everywhere I turn, a leftist is judging me and is ready to attack at all costs.

So I ask, Where did the DEMOCRAT party go?!? We Americans are for the REPUBLIC, and the DEMOCRACY for the people, hence our party titles! I know there are democrats and republicans out there that are willing to compromise with the other party. These Obama supporters, they are not democrats, for democrats are an American political party for democracy. These people are socialists, they know it and they are proud of it. I talk to Hillary supporters (even the ones who don't support McCain/Palin) and these people are logical, rational, and intelligent! They are passionate, and I know that these people are democrats and not socialists. I don't like Hillary's views at all, I won't sugar coat it either. But I am pretty damned sure she would be a better selection than Obama is. He is ripping this nation apart, his followers are down-right NASTY to ANYONE who won't vote Obama, and they seem to be working overtime this year.

It is extremely sad and frightening. Elections were never this personal, never this repulsive, and never this nasty. I hope this is as bad as it will ever get.

Keep in mind colleges are bubbles of leftist thought. Conservatives are out there, but are muffled in an environment like that. Plus, colleges are a small portion of the populace.

Agreed. Universities and colleges tend to be much more left. In fact, if you don't go along, it can cost you a job in some.

Rush is right, the left is just ANGRY and full of HATE. They hate it that others disagree, yet live happy lives.
There is no logic.
There's a childrens' book out I think called "Why Mommy is a Democrat". Look it up.
It's SCARY.

If we let them get away with everything, this country as we know it will be no more. It will not be a democracy, it will be socialist. Ambition to do anything will be lost and we will not have a say in who runs this country. It is getting like that now, It is pissing me off especially because it is affecting MY future, I am still a young adult and I am trying to set myself up for a good future, a family, and a good job. I don't want this country's moral values going out the window so that some stubborn kids can make a statement..oh hell no!! I want the same opportunities my mother and father had. I want to be able to raise a child in a free society. I want to choose my workplace and profession.

I can totally understand what you might be feeling. As a clinton supporter I have felt the same frustration. the extreme left is out of bounds. The younger generation (of which even I am a part) tend to be liberals..and we are supposed to be tech savvy, more urban, the demographic ad/news media target hence the overall bias. Majority of us give a lot of weightage to finesse, crude humor, polishness, speech without having a iota of knowledge about what it requires to be POTUS. frickle mindedness tops all traits. there is no way you can have a sane discussion with this group irrespective of your ideologies. perfect example is the lonies at huffington post , daily kos..its a disgrace. I was a frequent blogger there till I was blocked from commenting ..talk about freedom of speech. Neways it was a great riddance.

I know this all too well, I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but I had a history teacher back when I was still in school, and this guy was like a total nut. He was always discussing politics instead of teaching history, and for the 3 republicans in the class, we got hell for an hour, because his theory was, if your republican your stupid. History is my favorite class, but by the end of the semester, I was just glad to be away from his class w/ my B(even though I got an A on every test). He was the whackiest, but all of my professors were liberal like that for the most part. It's part of the reason I refuse to discuss real politics w/ people at social gatherings, it's never worth the headache.

Don't let it discourage you though, as has been proven in the last two elections, there are still plenty of conservatively minded people, and even more proven this election, that even people who lean left still don't believe in the far left. Both of those give me hope in my future.

You got to work the system when it comes to your grades. Exposing yourself to your professors is not going to help anyone, especially you. Always put the liberal slant in your work. That's how you get good grades with less effort. Choose your battles wisely. Trying to straighten out your professors' warped brains is losing battle.

There are universities out there that aren't left-leaning, but they usually are connected to a Christian denomination and are pretty expensive. I graduated from one. It is ranked pretty high by US News and World Reports in their yearly report that they make. However, it wasn't an antagonistic relationship between students and profs which I more and more appreciate.

I sense that Bill Clinton is frustrated with his own party.......... you can tell he's trying to reel them in a bit, but it's not working, they are turning on HIM now, too.

This sort of crap is what happens with party comes before country. If those people want socialism, they can move! There are MANY socialist countries that will WELCOME them with open arms! Get in my face, I'll welcome them with arms alright.......
